Apply for a queue number

To apply for a right-of-occupancy home, you need a queue number granted by The Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland (ARA).

The queue number is valid for two years and works for all right-of-occupancy homes in Finland. However, you must submit a separate application to each company.

The queue number costs 9,20 euros. Please check ARA’s website for instructions and possible changes regarding the queue number and applying for the queue number.

Because of the reform of Right-of Occupancy Housing Act, permanent queue number received from the municipality must be used no later than 31^st of December 2023.

You can apply for a queue number for the future even if you do not need an apartment at the moment. You can apply for a new number as soon as you have signed your right-of-occupancy contract. The queue number is personal and concerns the whole applicant family.
