How is the rent determined?
Asuntosäätiö offers both interest-subsidised and non-subsidised rental homes.
In interest-subsidised homes, the rent is based on the cost rent principle. This means that the maximum rent is limited to the amount needed for the maintenance and financing expenses of the apartments and related facilities.
In non-subsidised rental homes, the rent is based on market prices. The rent also depends on the location, age and condition of the apartment.
